We're so glad you're here.
This course was designed specifically for healthcare professionals and coaches who want to integrate simple, effective mindfulness techniques into client conversations — and into their own day-to-day lives.
You’ll explore the core principles of mindfulness, experience guided practices, and learn how to apply these tools to support emotional regulation, pain management, and stress reduction. The content builds progressively, so we recommend moving through the lessons in order.
📘 Start by downloading your workbook. This 15-page guide will help you stay engaged and reflect as you go.
📌 Then review your learning objectives below to get a sense of what you’ll walk away with.
Let’s dive in!
In this section, we’ll build a foundation by exploring what mindfulness is and how it can support you as both a person and a practitioner. You’ll experience a grounding practice, learn key definitions, attitudes, and forms of practice, and reflect on how mindfulness can show up in your daily life. We’ll then connect mindfulness to the four coaching mindsets, giving you space to notice where it can help shift your approach.
This section offers a pdf summary of current research on mindfulness and its impact on chronic pain, cancer, ADHD, stress, and anxiety.
In this section, you’ll see a live demonstration of a grounding practice followed by a reflective inquiry with a coaching client. We’ll then break down the key elements, purpose, and guiding questions of a mindful inquiry. You’ll have a chance to reflect on how you could use this type of reflection into your practice.
In this section, you’ll be introduced to Mindful Movement - its purpose, intention, and what makes movement truly mindful. You’ll be guided through a practice and then invited to reflect on your own experience, as well as why and how you might share this approach with your clients.
In this section, you’ll be introduced to the body scan, a formal mindfulness practice that uses body sensations as anchors to the present moment. You’ll be guided through a body scan and reflection, exploring what you noticed and why you might choose to use this practice for yourself or with clients. We’ll also look at the benefits of a body scan practice and introduce ways to guide mindfulness practices such as this one, in a trauma-sensitive way. You’ll have the opportunity to consider how and with whom you might bring in the body scan practice.
In this section, we’ll explore how to help clients carry mindfulness beyond a formal practice or reflection and into the flow of their daily lives. Through examples related to stress management, chronic pain, and emotional regulation, you’ll see how clients can use mindfulness to connect with their bodies, navigate difficult moments, and build emotional intelligence in real time. At the end of this section you’ll find a link to the Feelings Wheel, to support this ongoing, moment-to-moment awareness.
In this section, we’ll look at how to integrate mindfulness into your client sessions using the Dive into a Coach Approach® framework, exploring where practices and reflections can fit from beginning to end. You’ll also find a PDF summary highlighting key considerations for guiding mindfulness practices effectively. This section encourages you to think creatively about where and how mindfulness can naturally fit into your sessions to support clients’ awareness of their body, emotions, or moment-to-moment experience.
The final section! Here, you’ll be guided through a reflective practice to acknowledge your effort and explore what you’ve learned, what’s been clarified, and how your connection to mindfulness has shifted. You’ll also consider how you’ve applied these practices and what changes you’ve noticed in your clients so far. Congratulations!
